Our Process

Meet & Greet

A member of our team will meet you at your home to discuss the scope of work and your vision for the project. Whether you have a full set of drawings, something you have drawn on a napkin or found on Pinterest, we will put together a preliminary budget and present it to you at no cost. At this point, if the budget meets your expectations, we will proceed to the design stage.

Design
If you don’t already have drawings, we will put you in touch with one of our designers. They will provide a set of drawings that can be used to create a high-level budget. These drawings will also be submitted to the city for any required permits. At this time, you’ll also receive a list of our suppliers so that you can make selections for plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, tile, flooring etc. We recommend sticking with in-stock or available products to streamline the project.
Design
Trades Day
Some of our trades may require a site visit to confirm their pricing. Rather than sending several people at different times, we arrange to have all trades come on the same day. All our contractors will then produce a final price from which we will create a proposal. Upon acceptance of the proposal, we will proceed to construction, and you can rest assured the cost will be set in stone as per the scope of work.

We will develop a schedule at this point based on the availability of your selections and send it to the trade partners. All walk-throughs and inspections are set up, and the puzzle pieces will start falling into place. From electrical and plumbing to framing, drywall, painting, millwork and more, you will see how streamlined and meticulous our trade partners are. The final touches, such as fixtures, lighting, and plugs, will be added, and we’ll perform a full clean just in time for your final walkthrough.

We can’t wait for you to settle back into your brand-new space! Renocraft prides itself on being a reputable basement developer and home renovation company. We never take “deposits” for work that has not been started or completed. If you have a large project, we may request a “Progress Payment” at approximately the halfway point and based on completed work only.
